A three-year contract will be offered with a minimum starting salary of $280,000 with consideration given for preparation, qualifications, experience, and record
of accomplishments. An attractive benefits package will be added. Residency
in the City of Buffalo is required.

Buffalo City School District is seeking a dynamic school leader with demonstrated success in promoting student achievement and development, and cultivating partnerships with parents and community. The candidate will be appointed by the board of education in July 2025 with a start date by Fall 2025.

• Valid NYS certification as a School District Leader (SDL) or School District Administrator (SDA) • Extensive leadership experience in an educational setting, which must include district and building-level experience • Successful administrative experience in an urban setting with a large racially and economically diverse population preferred • Extensive knowledge of the Buffalo City School District with a commitment to engage all stakeholders in its success • Leadership skills built on integrity, trust, and accountability • Demonstrated capability to work independently, develop strategies, and build alliances to reach stated professional goals • Outstanding communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work effectively with all stakeholders • A track record of distinguished success in educational and organizational leadership
