The Pine Bush Central School District is seeking an outstanding Superintendent for this K-12
school system of approximately 5,000 students. The Board is seeking a highly qualified,
committed and caring leader with a vision for excellence and a desire to lead an innovative,
forward thinking school district.
The District is nestled at the base of the majestic Shawangunk Mountains and covers seven
towns located in portions of Ulster, Sullivan, and Orange Counties of New York and is composed
of four elementary schools, two middle schools and a high school. The location in the historic
Hudson Valley offers an exceptional quality of life, combining the charm of small towns with
easy access to New York City, world-class cultural attractions, year-round outdoor recreation,
and prestigious colleges and universities.
The successful candidate will be expected to establish residence within a reasonable
commuting distance of the district to ensure full engagement with the schools and community. The Superintendent will be provided with a regionally competitive salary and benefits package.
