The Canaseraga Central School District is seeking an outstanding educational leader to fill the position of Superintendent of Schools. The successful candidate will:

• demonstrate leadership ability and is comfortable leading instructional initiatives
• communicate openly, honestly and effectively with all stakeholders
• have an understanding of rural education and is an advocate for all children
• have knowledge and/or experience with business management, personnel management and collective negotiations
• be viewed by the Board and the community as being invested, honest and a person of high integrity
• have experience in facilities projects
• become involved and visible in the life of the school community. 

Residency in the district is preferred, but not required.

• Late February 2025: Board of Education appoints successful candidate
• June 2025: Anticipated start date
