New York State Superintendent Positions
The Williamson Central School District Board of Education is seeking a new superintendent of schools due to the pending retirement of its current outstanding superintendent, Mary Grace Mazzullo. The district is seeking a committed, dynamic leader who will embrace their culture while taking the district to new heights. The new superintendent will begin on July 1, 2024.
Williamson is a gem of a district. With approximately 250 staff who serve nearly 1,000 students, the district is led by an amazing five-member Board of Education. The Board is a collaborative body with a strong love for the district. They are an incredible asset to the district.
The district is located twenty-two miles east of Rochester and encompasses 36 square miles. With beautiful lakefront properties on Lake Ontario, the district offers urban availability in a beautiful rural setting. There is an abundance of cultural, educational, and recreational opportunities in the area.
The district seeks a leader looking to call Williamson home for the foreseeable future. The successful candidate will be expected to foster a culture where excellence is not optional, and one in which the accomplishments of students and staff are celebrated and honored. The next leader is expected to be a humble, approachable leader who believes in the power of relationships and conversations.
The district is prepared to offer a salary in the $165,000-190,000 range depending on experience and qualifications.
While residency is not required, proximity to the district is essential, as the superintendent will be expected to become an active and highly visible member of the Williamson community.
