NYS SDA/SDL Certification
Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification
A minimum of three years as a Central Office administrator, preferably in Human Resources
Demonstrated experience in advancing diversity and inclusion efforts within complex organizational structures
Experience creating and managing a warm, welcoming, and affirming working environment
Personal qualities of integrity, honesty, credibility, and dedication to the mission of ESBOCES
Proven ability to create and sustain a culture of collaboration and empowerment
A background in engaging all stakeholders to develop and implement successful systems and processes
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to present to large audiences of various internal and external stakeholder groups, with an understanding of adult learning
Demonstrated ability to collect, analyze, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate programs and monitor progress over time for reflection and action by stakeholders
Background in negotiations and labor management
Knowledge of education law, labor law, and the Civil Service system
Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential records and information
