The Edmeston Central School District seeks an inspirational, courageous, collaborative, student focused leader to serve as our next Superintendent. The connection between our school and community is important and central to our work. We seek a leader who is a visible and engaged communicator who is focused on establishing strong relationships with our students, staff, community, and Board of Education. Our next Superintendent is an experienced leader who believes in the promise of rural education and the promise of Edmeston.
Edmeston Central School is located in the Town of Edmeston in Otsego County. The district covers 95 square miles in the western part of Otsego County. Our school serves approximately 370 students in one school building. The original school building was constructed in 1937 and contains many distinctive architectural features.
Located less than 20 miles from Cooperstown, home of the National Baseball Hall of Fame, Edmeston is situated in the heart of a region rich with recreational and cultural opportunities as well as easy commutes to higher education institutions such as SUNY Oneonta, Hartwick College, SUNY Polytechnic Institute, Utica University, Mohawk Valley Community College, SUNY Delhi, SUNY Cobleskill, and SUNY Morrisville. The school is the heart of the Edmeston community.

Applicants must fill out the OLAS application and provide a current resumé, university credentials, a copy of a current New York State School District Administrator certificate, and three letters of recommendation.
