The Watertown City School District is seeking an Assistant Superintendent for Instruction. Duties include developing, overseeing, and managing day-to-day operations of educational programs and services for the District.  Plans, develops, and implements functions related to general and special education curriculum, instruction, assessment, staff development, technology, delivery of compensatory educational programs, and administration of all federal programs, as well as facilitates a creative learning environment. This person also serves as the Chief Diversity Officer and will be responsible for supporting personnel in this area as well as providing training, education, and awareness. Grant writing experience preferred, but not required. 

Successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to impact school improvement. Other duties as assigned by the Superintendent of Schools.

Qualifications: New York State Certification as a School District Administrator or School District Leader is required with building-level administrative experience.
