Locust Valley Central School District is nestled in a small community on the North Shore of Long Island, and comprises eight different villages and towns. Pride runs deep in Locust Valley as many residents look to stay and return to the community where they were raised. It is also a community with many new residents filled with the desire to raise their families here because of the district's geographical beauty, community based events, and schools.
The District serves a population of approximately 2000 students. There are two elementary campuses, one in Locust Valley and one in Bayville. Each elementary campus houses 2 schools, a primary building for PreK through 2nd grade and an Intermediate building for 3rd-5th grade. Our Locust Valley Middle School (6th - 8th) and Locust Valley High School (9th - 12th) share a building and campus. They are situated amongst park-like fields and facilities, including a brand new turf field, track, bleachers and lights to support athletics, activities and our community’s well being.
