The South Kortright Central School District seeks a student focused leader with experience in school finance to serve as our next Superintendent. Our next Superintendent is an outstanding communicator who leads with compassion, integrity, and character while establishing strong relationships with our students, staff, community, and Board of Education. We seek an experienced leader who believes in the promise of rural education and who is not afraid to take risks in the service of providing opportunities for our students. Our next Superintendent is committed to both the traditions and the growth of South Kortright. 

Candidates must possess a valid NYS certification as a School District Leader. 

The South Kortright Board of Education is prepared to offer the successful candidate a salary of $130,000-$140,000 based on experience. A competitive benefits package will be provided. Candidates need to establish residency within 30 minutes of the school.

Qualified candidates are invited to submit a letter of interest that clearly states how their skills and background make them the right candidate to serve as the South Kortright Central School District Superintendent. In addition, applicants must fill out the OLAS application and provide a current resume, university credentials, a copy of a current New York State School District Leader certificate and three letters of recommendation.
