The Board of Education is seeking a highly qualified leader to serve as Superintendent of Schools. The successful candidate will have a broad range of experience that encompasses P-12 education with proven leadership in educational administration. The candidate will be able to leverage their skills to work with the Board of Education, parents, the community, staff, and students to develop a collaborative vision for the district to meet rigorous and highly ambitious goals.

• Possess a New York State School District Administrator/Leader Certificate
• Possess exemplary personal and professional qualities
• A commitment to the district through a willingness to physically be a part of the community
• Demonstrates proven leadership in educational administration as well as outstanding communication, problem-solving and planning skills.
• Experienced in community relations and have a strong background in curriculum and instruction, school finance and budgeting.
• A leader that earns the respect of the staff, students, board, and the community by building trust through transparent communication and follow-through
• A dynamic, visionary, team builder that can plan and implement a program of continuous improvement in academic achievement by engaging
stakeholders in rich, collegial conversations about instruction
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of the culture of Salamanca as well as that of the school community
