ROLE OF THE CPO Our CPO will have the unique opportunity to advance a successful program with a track record of impact and continued innovation and a demonstrated record of building significant capacity for educational equity across the country’s high schools. They will work under the direction of the CEO to shape and lead the organization’s Action for Equity programming – ensuring A4E programs are innovative, impactful, effective, and aligned with our core values and practices. The CPO leads the exploration, development, and implementation of new A4E program offerings, metrics of success, and dynamic opportunities for growth and development. Action 4 Equity (A4E) Program Management - Lead the ongoing design, planning, delivery, and assessment of EOS’s core program model
- Ensure fidelity to implementation and intended outcomes of all EOS A4E delivery phases
- Develop and execute standardized and continuously honed metrics and ways of measuring success and progress toward goals
- Apply continuous learning processes to enable thoughtful, innovative responses to programmatic improvements, and evolving educational trends
Program Team Leadership - Ensure successful execution of the strategic plan and annual goals related to programmatic creation and delivery
- Play a key role in leading planning activities on behalf of the Program Division and the organization
- Develop and manage the performance of the entire Program team, instituting strong accountability systems, training, and professional development plans that support staff growth
External Partnerships - Foster productive, collaborative working relationships with school, district, and state public education partners, other education nonprofits, and policy experts
- Develop EOS' stories of success of students EOS aims to serve, and tell those stories in the media and general public with authenticity and sensitivity
Executive Leadership & Collaboration - Serve as a member of EOS' Cabinet and leadership team; participate in major organizational strategic, financial, programmatic, fundraising, and talent-related decisions
- Collaborate closely with EOS Cabinet members in the development of program designs, objectives, and budgets
- Collaborate around Program Model innovation, impact, and research with Chief Strategy Officer
