This exciting opportunity as a Director of School Turnaround works with the senior leaders—state departments of education, superintendents, assistant superintendents, etc.-- of K12 school districts. The successful candidate will have experience with school turnaround either from the central office or school/site administration and will target school districts based upon research, personal relationships, and referrals to sell the aligned practices area’s education solutions. The right candidate will be an aggressive hunter who proactively identifies target potential customers every week. Although this individual will independently engage those leads, actual sales calls will be in a team selling environment as we have Subject Matter Experts for our portfolio of solutions proven to increase student achievement to school districts of all sizes. Duties: - Research and identify potential school turnaround targets using multiple data sources.
- Generate new opportunities for new and existing customers.
- Outbound calling/canvasing as needed, making multiple calls to potential clients.
- Uncover a district’s needs, understand their issues, match a solution, and intelligently present that solution.
- Maintain an in-depth analysis of competing products.
- Track weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics (activities & results).
- Build pipelines with practice/product partners and team members to close sales.
- Maintain accurate and current Salesforce database prospective client information.
- Work as an integral team member of their aligned Practice area, working effectively as a team to support cross-functional team goals.
- Responsible for cultivation and growing large market opportunities.
- Present information to potential clients, providing compelling product demos to customers (both online and in person).
- Ability to have conversations with decision makers about improving classroom instruction and leadership.
- Close sales and work with client through closing process.
- This position may require up to 80% travel.
