The Tioga Central School District Board of Education is seeking a highly qualified educational leader to fill the position of superintendent of schools. The search process will be conducted over the next few months with the successful candidate beginning employment on or before July 1, 202. Allen D. Buyck, district superintendent of Broome-Tioga BOCES, is serving as the search consultant for this effort, assisting the board in the selection process. The consultant will screen applicants and recommend to the board a group of final candidates. 

Interested and qualified individuals are encouraged to submit letters of interest, academic transcripts, resumes, completed application forms, professional credentials and/or appropriate letters of reference to Broome-Tioga BOCES District Superintendent Allen D. Buyck at 435 Glenwood Road, Binghamton, N.Y. 13906.

Candidates should include a copy of their school district administrator’s certificate. Letters of reference from the two most recent employers as well as other letters of reference should be included in the professional credentials portfolio.

If a candidate does not have current professional credentials on file with a university placement office, the candidate still must submit the required aforementioned documentation.

In 2019, Tioga High School was named a National Blue Ribbon recipient by the U.S. Department of Education. We are equally proud that these accomplishments have been attained through strong fiscal stewardship and one of the lowest school tax burdens in the region.  We recently completed a capital project approved by voters in February 2017. The scope included general district renovations, health and safety items, and construction of UPK classrooms.
