Valid NYS School Building Leader (SBL) certification is required.
A demonstrated commitment to creating learning environments designed to support the academic, social and emotional needs of all students
Expertise in the supervision and evaluation of faculty and staff utilizing rubrics to promote professional growth
Experience using data to establish clear and measurable goals to monitor student progress and evaluate instructional programs
Expertise as an instructional leader, capable of designing and guiding professional development for an experienced faculty
Ability to engage stakeholders, including students, parents, faculty, and community members, in a shared commitment to the goals of the Irvington High School and district.

Oversee the interscholastic athletic, physical education and health programs Promote the development and growth athletic programs through partnerships with community organizations

Effectively communicate with students, faculty, parents, community and the media
