The Director of Pupil Personnel Services is a key leadership position in the district and is part of the Superintendent’s Core Leadership team. The candidate must hold or demonstrate eligibility for NYS Certification as School District Leader or School District Administrator and meet the following qualifications:
At least 5 years of teaching experience; special education or related services experience preferred;
Comprehensive curriculum, instruction, assessment and professional development experience;
Expertise in strategic planning, decision-making and team facilitation;
Demonstration of dynamic leadership with vision;
Ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken language;
Strong supervisory skills; and
Ability to implement policies and procedures in the area of Special Education.
