The Deputy Superintendent of Instruction and School Communities is a new position reporting to the Superintendent. Serving as the day-to-day instructional leader, this role will lead the development of modern, powerful and effective professional learning communities at every school site using data-based inquiry to improve learning results for students and transform the curriculum in order to close achievement disparities.

The Chief Academic Officer is a new position reporting to the Deputy Superintendent of Instruction and School Communities. The Chief Academic Officer will provide strategic vision, leadership and direction for the instructional framework and pedagogical approach to the district academic programs and staff. This role will also lead the development and delivery of a professional learning framework for all professional educators and administrators.

The Chief of Student Support Services is a new position reporting to the Deputy Superintendent of Instruction and School Communities. This key leader is responsible for developing and implementing student, family, and community supports that will enable all of our students to be fully engaged and successful. The successful leader will support our students by creating a capacity of services to address student, family, and community needs.
