The Randolph Central School District has a vacancy for the position of School Business Official. The School Business Official, under the direction of the Superintendent of Schools, will lead and manage the business operations including, but not limited to accounting, payroll, purchasing, State & Federal financial reporting, Civil Service staff supervision, the administration of contracts and other fiscal services of the district. This is a twelve-month position.

Candidate Qualifications: Eligible for Cattaraugus County Civil Service appointment as a School Business Executive or School District Treasurer. NYS certified SDA, SBA, or SDBL individuals are also highly encouraged to apply, as the position is flexible
Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree including or supplemented by 24 semester credit hours in accounting, business education, or business administration and two years of business administration experience which must include accounting and budgeting duties one year of which shall have been in a supervisory capacity;
Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college with an Associate’s Degree in accounting or business administration and four years of business administration experience which must include accounting and budgeting duties two years of which shall have been in a supervisory capacity.
Possess the ability to interact and communicate effectively with personnel at all levels of the organization.
Possess a management style which fosters a team effort.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable.

The Randolph Central School is a high performing district in a close-knit community with a strong Administrative Team. The rural district is comprised of nine communities. The district is approximately 262 square miles in the southwest corner of Cattaraugus County, 60 miles south of Buffalo. The District employs 97 instructional staff and 89 non-instructional staff. The current population of the school district is approximately 950 students in Pre-K through 12.
