Superintendent of Schools for the Royalton-Hartland Central School District
The board of education and surrounding community are seeking a highly qualified educational leader to fill the position of Superintendent of Schools of the Royalton-Hartland Central School District.
Roy-Hart CSD (as it is more commonly known as) is located along the Erie Canal at the eastern edge of Niagara County. The District encompasses 81 square miles over portions of six townships. It enjoys a semi-rural location and is only an hour from Buffalo, Niagara Falls, and Rochester.
Staffing among three different facilities (two in Middleport and one in Gasport), includes 7 administrators, 112 teaching staff, and 56 support staff. The total student enrollment is currently at 1,275.

Approximate start date for the successful candidate is March 26, 2018.

New York State Certification as a School District Administrator is required.
Successful experience as a classroom teacher and principal as well as experience in a central office is preferred
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with the community, the Board of Education, and the staff to build credibility and trust for the District
Willingness to demonstrate a high level of visibility within the District and to the development of strong and ongoing positive relationships between the District and community
Experience with instructional leadership and gap closing strategies in a high performing district
Success at reaching out to work successfully with the school stakeholders
Strong financial and personnel background with the ability to marshal resources to the benefit of the instructional program
Additional Salary Information: The successful candidate will be offered a three-year contract with a compensation package of up to $170,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
